Do you accept my insurance?

Yes. Most insurance plans are accepted at our office. We also accept auto accident, worker’s compensation and personal injury cases. We work with many major providers, including UnitedHealthcare, Optum, Blue Cross Blue Shield, FEP Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, GEHA, UMR, UMR UHHS, Anthem, CareFirst and Medicare. Because every plan is different, our team will verify your benefits, explain what is covered and review any expected out of pocket costs before your first visit.

What conditions do you treat?

We treat a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, including back pain, neck pain, headaches, migraines, sciatica, shoulder pain, hip pain, knee pain, muscle tightness, sports injuries and posture related discomfort from sitting or computer work. If your pain affects how you move, there is a good chance we can help.

What should I expect on my first visit?

Your first visit includes a detailed conversation about your symptoms, health history, daily activities and goals, followed by a movement based examination. Dr. Josh will explain his findings in simple terms, outline a personalized plan and begin your first treatment when appropriate. You will not be rushed or pressured.

Will I be adjusted on the first visit?

In most cases, yes. As long as your examination shows that it is safe and appropriate, you will receive your first treatment during your initial visit. Treatment may include chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue work, dry needling or a combination of these services based on your needs and comfort level.

Do I need X rays before starting care?

Most new patients do not need X rays to begin care. Imaging is only recommended when your history or examination suggests that it is necessary for your safety, your diagnosis or your treatment plan. If X rays or other imaging are needed, we will explain why and help you get them done quickly.

How long is the first appointment?

The first appointment typically lasts thirty to forty five minutes. This allows enough time for your consultation, examination and initial treatment. Follow up visits are usually shorter and focused on the specific care you need that day.

What should I wear to my appointment?

Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move easily. Athletic wear is ideal, but any non restrictive clothing is fine. You do not need to change clothes unless you prefer to.
